Howdy all. Thanks to everyone who came to the House of Leaves book group, personally I think that it was our liveliest one yet, with everyone having read the book and having something to say. Feel free to continue the discussion below or at ourdarkmaterials.co.uk.

And welcome to the fellow who came along towards the end of the meeting, I hope we didn’t scare you off and made you feel at home.

We decided on mark’s choice for the next meeting, Ilium by Dan Simmons. It’s a sci-fi re-telling of The Iliad so that ought to provoke a good discussion. I just bought mine on Amazon Marketplace for £2.75 including postage and packaging, so it’s worth looking there if you can’t find it in libraries.
